It's the beginning of wasp season.
Make sure that you control them now while the nests are small to give monarch butterfly caterpillars, native moths and spiders a chance to survive the summer.
Spray any paper wasp nests with fly spray in the evening or early morning to avoid a nasty sting. Good luck!
