HEALTH WARNING FOR LAKE ROTORUA, OHAU CHANNEL AND OKERE ARM !!!

You may have already seen information about the health warning at Rotorua, Ohau Channel and Okere Arm, but the news keeps getting worse!

We have HAD the HIGHEST CYANABACTERIA READINGS IN THE OHAU CHANNEL EVER RECORDED come through and we are now having reports come through from vets that they are seeing sick dogs who have been swimming in or playing on the edge of Lake Rotorua.

We are worried that with the Health warnings having been in place for so long that people might be becoming complacent and be letting their pets into these toxic areas.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR PETS (AND YOURSELF) OUT OF THE WATER IN LAKE ROTORUA, OHAU CHANNEL AND OKERE ARM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!
