As part of their SH33 safety improvement project NZTA are coordinating the design of the safety improvements for the proposed shared pathway between Mourea and Okere Falls. They hope to have an update on the funding and timing for this element for the community and stakeholders within the next couple of months.
The speed management proposals have now been implemented and this work has been greatly supported by our iwi partners and locals.
