LRCA is committed to leading the development of a Lake Rotoiti Community Emergency Response Plan.

Please make yourself familiar with the new pages on our web site to help you in an emergency providing details of, Emergency Contacts and Emergency Planning. They are valuable resources which will help you in an emergency.

The ultimate goal is for the plan to be ‘prepared by the community, for the community’ and aims to ensure there are measures in place to help the community take care of itself for at least three days before help arrives, should there be a natural disaster.

The community plan is only part of the response and individual households are encouraged to build and strengthen their own resilience by being prepared in the event of an emergency: whether it effects the community as a whole or your own whanau, friends and visitors to your home.
