AGM Jan 23 Draft Minutes Now Available

Thank you to all who attended our AGM this morning at the Rotoiti Sports And Community Association in Mourea.

We were honoured to have new Rotorua Lakes councillors and community Board members attend, along with key staff from the Bay of Plenty Regional Council.

Presentations on lake structure consents, lake levels, SH30 speed review, algal bloom and weed spraying and East Rotoiti sewerage scheme were well received, and some great comments & questions came from our members.

Congratulations to Reina Engelen on her re-appointment as Chairperson & Roy Duffy as Deputy. Jim Stanton continues as Treasurer & Claire Miller as Secretary. Existing committee members Annamarie Jensen, Sarah Uhl, Mike Gowan & Tom Macky were nominated once again. We farewelled the incredible Sherilyn Coney, thanking her for her years of service with Life Membership.

We had a couple of conversations post meeting with some potential new committee members but are still open to co-opt anyone interested in becoming a committee member. Send us a message if you're keen.
