Today LRCA and Lakes Water Quality Society along with support from other community groups have issued a Letter of Demand to the Bay of Plenty Regional Council - Seeking Action to Stop the leakage of Lake Rotorua water Into Lake Rotoiti - as soon as possible.
We have also launched a new website - fixohauwall.nz - which has more information about the Wall, the full Letter of Demand, and video footage of the corrosion and the extent of the holes. This is the go-to place for up-to-date information and any BoPRC decisions.
