Delta Boat Ramp access and parking During Repair Trials
The contractors are aiming to keep one of the Ohau Delta boat ramps open as much as possible and allow for parking at the ramp.
However, there are times when they will need the full site for construction work and boat launching at the delta will not be possible.
The first period when the boat ramp will not be available will be the period 21 - 25 September, so fishermen and boaties will need to use an alternative ramp at that time (Okawa Bay or Otaramarae).
The contractors will aim to have the ramp open for access and parking by 1 October for trout fishing season opening.
When the ramp is not available please use an alternative ramp - eg Okawa Bay or Otaramarae.
