LRCA has submitted that the SH30 speed limit should be 60kph from Moose Lodge to Hongis Track including the 1km from Ruato Bay and Gisborne Pt.

LRCA have met with the Regional Council and they have agreed to review their approach to the trial and the conditions under which it is run.

Omission in SH30 Proposed Speeds
Waka Kotahi has adopted most of LRCA’s proposed 60kph speed limits except for 1km between Ruato Bay and Gisborne Pt where 80kph is proposed.
